NDBA Peer Group Consortium Keynote 2017
The North Dakota Bankers Association invited me to present the best motivational keynote possible for their 2017 Peer Group Consortium event at the Heritage Center in Bismarck, North Dakota. The goal of the presentation was to bring the NDBA community closer together while providing top leadership training to help foster greater initiative in the attendees. I also led a breakout session where we dug deep into what it means to be a part of a community and ways that the audience members could lead more fulfilling lives through creating shared experiences. It was a powerful day for everyone involved and I’m grateful for having the opportunity to positively impact the lives of these amazing individuals!

You know, for me as a person who planned the event, it’s about seeing the impact that his message has on others, because for me, it’s all about the other people. There’s so many points in the stories that are touching to me and make that difference, but when I walk out afterwards, and I heard “I had tears in my eyes” so many times from my participants, or they laughed so hard – Again, it’s all about the others and seeing the impact that it has on the others, and I think that’s most meaningful. What I see in Kenyon is he truly connects. He truly cares, and he’s so sincere in the message that he wants to make, and the difference that he wants to make in people’s lives and helping them live their bucket list life. With that kind of message, of course I’d certainly recommend him to other organizations!
It was wonderful. It’s very inspiring. We’re going through strategic planning right now and working with staff to think bigger. This was really great timing for several staff that got to hear this presentation and, hopefully, took away some great ideas. This can work for so many different groups of people.
